NEW YORK, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Java, Indonesia at 22:46:57 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 596.6 km, was initially determined to be at 6.28 degrees south latitude and 113.96 degrees east longitude. Enditem
