ISLAMABAD -- A van collided with a tractor trolley on Thursday in Lodhran district of Pakistan's eastern Punjab province, leaving six people dead and 16 others injured, local police said.

Police said that the van carrying a wedding party rammed into the tractor trolley parked on the roadside in Dunyapur area of the district. (Pakistan-Traffic Accident)

GAZA -- The Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza has risen to 29,410, with 69,465 others wounded since the Israel-Hamas conflict broke out, Hamas-run Health Ministry said in a press statement on Thursday.

It added that the Israeli army killed 97 Palestinians and wounded 132 others during the past 24 hours, noting that some victims remain under the rubble amid heavy bombardment and a lack of civil defense and ambulance crews. (Palestine-Death Toll)

MANILA -- Government forces have killed three suspected rebels in a clash in Negros Occidental province in central Philippines, a military report said Thursday.
