BEIRUT, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- At least five people were injured on Thursday due to an Israeli air raid that targeted a residential apartment in Kfar Remen, a city in the Nabatieh Governorate region of southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese medical and military sources.
A medical source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Xinhua that the five injured arrived at a hospital in Nabatieh, two of whom were in serious condition.
Military sources said four air-to-surface missiles penetrated the upper roof of two adjacent residential apartments and exploded inside them, leading to their complete demolition and causing severe damage to the neighboring buildings.
The sources said that several teams from the Civil Defense and the Lebanese Red Cross had headed to the site to remove the rubble and recover the injured. Enditem
