LIMA -- At least six people were killed in the southern Peruvian region of Apurimac after the Chumbao River was flooded by heavy rain, said local media on Saturday.

The incident occurred early Friday when the victims were allegedly traveling in a black vehicle that rushed into the waters and there was a surge in the river's flow due to heavy rainfall, according to the local radio station Exitosa. (Peru-Flooding)

KIEV -- At least eight people were killed and eight others injured when a drone hit an apartment building in Ukraine's southern port city of Odesa on Saturday morning, the State Service for Emergencies said on Telegram.

ISLAMABAD -- Three terrorists were killed and four others injured during a clash with security forces in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military has said.
