RIO DE JANEIRO, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Atletico Mineiro have reached an agreement with Atletico Nacional to sign Colombia under-23 winger Brahian Palacios, the Brazilian Serie A club said on Friday.

The 21-year-old attacker will be tied to the Belo Horizonte-based side until December 2027 after agreeing to an undisclosed transfer fee.

Atletico Mineiro confirmed the deal with a statement on social media accompanied by a video of his career highlights to date.

"I'm very happy to be here and I thank you for the opportunity," Palacios said. "I appreciate all of the messages and I hope to meet you soon."

Palacios made 56 appearances for Colombian top-flight outfit Atletico Nacional, with whom he made his professional debut in 2022. Enditem
