ACCRA, March 10 (Xinhua) -- Ghana grabbed four medals in weightlifting and swimming on Sunday at the 13th African Games in the Ghanaian capital of Accra.
Weightlifter Winnifred Ntumi bagged three medals in the women's weightlifting category. The 21-year-old won gold in the overall 45kg final and two silver medals in the 49kg snatch and the 49kg clean and jerk categories respectively.
On the same day, Ghanaian swimmer Abeiku Jackson, 23, won a silver in the 50-meter butterfly event.
According to the official website, as of Sunday, Egypt, Algeria, and South Africa top the medal count. Enditem
