SEOUL -- South Korea's export fell in double digits in the first 10 days of March due to fewer business days, customs office data showed Monday.

MANILA -- Foreign direct investment (FDI) that flowed into the Philippines declined year-on-year by 6.6 percent in 2023, the country's central bank said Monday.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said the FDI net inflows reached 826 million U.S. dollars last December, bringing the yearly total amount to 8.9 billion dollars in 2023, compared to 9.5 billion dollars in net inflows recorded in 2022. (Philippines-FDI-2023)

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said here on Monday that mobile payments in the Southeast Asian country increased to 492 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, up 80 percent from 272.8 billion dollars in a year earlier.

ISLAMABAD -- A 19-member federal cabinet of newly-elected Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif took the oath on Monday during a ceremony held at the President House in the capital city of Islamabad.
