SINGAPORE, March 13 (Xinhua) -- The Monetary Authority of Singapore said Wednesday that economists and analysts expect the country's gross domestic product (GDP) to expand 2.4 percent in 2024.
The number was 0.1 percentage points higher than the 2.3 percent GDP growth previously forecast.
Respondents noted that faster-than-expected recovery in the technological cycle and more robust growth in China will boost Singapore's economy this year.
The median forecast for Singapore's all-items inflation this year is 3.1 percent, down from 3.4 percent in the previous survey last December. Enditem
