GAZA -- An Israeli soldier was killed during the Israeli army's raid on the Al-Shifa complex in Gaza City early Monday, the Israeli military said.

According to Israeli public radio, the soldier was a sergeant from the Hanahl Brigade, whose death brings the total number of Israeli fatalities since the start of the conflict to 593. (Israel-Soldier-Death)

DHAKA -- The death toll from last week's gas cylinder explosion in Gazipur on the outskirts of Bangladesh's capital Dhaka has hit 10 with four more injured succumbing to their injuries, an official said Monday.

The victims died in the Intensive Care Unit of the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka, said Partha Sankar Pal, a resident physician of the institute. (Bangladesh-Fire)
