BUCHAREST, March 22 (Xinhua) -- The Romanian version of three Chinese books have been unveiled in Bucharest at the Romanian Scientists' House as part of the "Discover China" series.

The launch ceremony, co-organized by Corint Publishing House and the Foreign Languages Press from Beijing, was held Wednesday for the publication of "The Jewels in China's Crown," "Chinese Values," and "Shared Ideals" in Romanian.

Luiza Penescu, general manager of Corint Publishing House, said that being part of the "Discover China" collection initiated in 2018, the books will provide Romanian readers with valuable insights into Chinese culture, history and society.

Chinese Ambassador to Romania Han Chunlin said the books would help deepen Romanians' understanding of China's modern economic development and its global contributions.

Under the "Discover China" project jointly sponsored by Corint Publishing House and the Foreign Languages Press, over 40 books on various aspects of Chinese culture have been translated. Enditem
