JAKARTA -- One was killed and nine others, including children, went missing after a landslide struck a village in the Indonesian province of West Java on Sunday, a local official said Monday.

TOKYO -- The number of people hospitalized has risen to 26 over health damage after ingesting a dietary supplement product produced by Japanese drugmaker Kobayashi Pharmaceutical containing beni-koji or red yeast rice, the company said on Monday, with the impact spilling over to other products.

MANILA -- Thirteen people were killed after a passenger van and a dump truck collided on a highway in Cotabato province in the southern Philippines on Monday, police and local media said.
