TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and the foreign policy chief of the European Union (EU), Josep Borrell, on Monday exchanged views on the latest developments in Gaza and Tehran's relations with the bloc.

During their phone conversation, they discussed regional and international issues of common interest, underscoring the importance for continued dialogue to revive the 2015 nuclear deal and lift sanctions imposed on Iran, according to a statement released by the Iranian foreign ministry. UNITED NATIONS -- The Security Council on Monday adopted a resolution that demands an immediate cease-fire in Gaza for the holy month of Ramadan.

NAIROBI -- At least four people were killed following heavy rains in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi over the past 24 hours, police confirmed Monday.
