JERUSALEM, March 27 (Xinhua) -- A man was killed as a rocket attack launched Wednesday by Hezbollah militants in Lebanon struck a factory in the city of Kiryat Shmona in northern Israel.
About 30 rockets were fired at the city, said the Israeli army.
The 25-year-old young man was pulled out of the factory hit by the rockets, Israel's Magen David Adom rescue service said in a statement.
Paramedics declared his death at the scene, not providing more details.
The attack was the latest in cross-border fighting between Israel and Hezbollah that began when Israel launched its retaliation against Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023. Enditem
