RAMALLAH, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Three Palestinians were killed by Israeli bombing and gunfire in the West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp, a Palestinian medical source said on Wednesday.

Director of Jenin Governmental Hospital Wissam Bakr told Xinhua that two young men were killed and nine others were injured in an Israeli drone strike in Jenin.

Another one died as a result of being shot in the chest by live bullets in the Al-Marah neighborhood in Jenin, he added.

Local Palestinian sources told Xinhua that large Israeli army forces, accompanied by two bulldozers, stormed Jenin and the town of Qabatiya, south of the city, amid an exchange of fire with Palestinian militants. The main entrances to the Qabatiya were bulldozed during the raid.

Since Oct. 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed more than 451 Palestinians throughout the West Bank and East Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Enditem
