ATHENS, March 29 (Xinhua) -- A 5.7-magnitude earthquake shook southwestern Greece at 0712 GMT Friday, said the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially detected to be at 37.44 degrees north latitude and 21.23 degrees east longitude.
No injuries or significant damages have been reported so far as aftershocks continue. The Geodynamics Institute of the National Observatory of Athens recorded a 5.6-magnitude tremor a few minutes later.
