YANGON, April 2 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and eight others injured on Monday in two different road accidents in Yangon region of southern Myanmar, local rescue organizations said on Tuesday.
The first traffic accident involving a passenger bus and a fuel truck occurred at around 5 p.m. local time near Dagon Ayar highway bus station, and the second accident involving taxis and pedestrians occurred at around 6:30 p.m. local time near a gas station in Hlaingthaya township of Yangon region.
The cause of the first accident was the break failure of the passenger bus, and the second accident was attributed to drunk driving.
The injured from the two traffic accidents were sent to Hlaingthaya General Hospital for medical treatment. Enditem
