JERUSALEM -- Israel on Tuesday assumed responsibility for the killing of seven workers of international food charity World Central Kitchen (WCK) during an overnight airstrike in the Gaza Strip and expressed "sincere sorrow."

TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Tuesday exchanged views on the deadly Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate building in Syria.

PORT SUDAN, Sudan -- Sudan's government announced on Tuesday the suspension of Al Arabiya News channel, Al Hadath TV, and Sky News Arabia's operations within the country, citing a lack of "professional standards and transparency" in their media coverage.

ISTANBUL-- The death toll in a fire on Tuesday in Türkiye's largest city, Istanbul, has risen to 29, according to the Istanbul governor's office.
