SEOUL, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Four foreign carmakers in South Korea will voluntarily recall some 50,700 vehicles for manufacturing defects, the transport ministry said Thursday.

Mercedes-Benz Korea will recall 27,406 units of eight different models, including E 350 4MATIC, for defective battery bolts, 8,833 units of 31 models including GLC 300 4MATIC for faulty fuse, and 8,058 units of two models including GLE 450 4MATIC for software error in the gearbox control unit, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Stellantis Korea will recall 3,229 units of Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV to repair the defective control arm, while Honda Motor will fix the faulty circuit board of passenger seat on 1,692 units of seven models such as Accord sedan.

Jaguar Land-Rover Korea will recall 1,542 units of 13 different models, including Range Rover 5.0SC, due to defective housing in rear cameras.

Vehicles owners can visit repair and service centers to replace the faulty parts free of charge. Enditem
