CONAKRY, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Four were killed and several seriously injured on Thursday in a traffic accident on the Coyah-Kindia national road, northeast of Guinea's capital Conakry, local media reported.

The tragedy was caused by a violent collision between a minibus and a car packed with passengers and goods, coming from Kindia to the capital Conakry.

Speeding, non-compliance with the driving code, overtaking in third position, and overloading of vehicles, are among other causes of the accident, according to reports.

The injured were transported to the Coyah prefectural hospital for treatment. Enditem
