MOSCOW, April 5 (Xinhua) -- The main potential area for Russia-U.S. dialogue will be focused on strategic stability issues, which include space issues, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday.
His comments come in response to the U.S. decision to submit a United Nations (UN) Security Council resolution early next week, calling on countries not to deploy nuclear weapons in space.
Washington expects Moscow to vote in favor of this resolution, U.S. authorities have said.
Moscow will wait until the resolution is submitted and further study it to formulate a position, said Peskov.
In early March, Russian President Vladimir Putin said the West was spreading fake news of Russia's alleged deployment of nuclear weapons in space, adding that Russia had no such plans. Enditem
