OTTAWA -- Millions of watchers in Canada turned skyward as a total solar eclipse moved across Canada on Monday.

RAMALLAH -- A Hamas official said on Monday that the movement insists on implementing its demands before reaching any deal with Israel, and there has been no progress in securing a truce through negotiations.

VIENNA -- Russia has requested an extraordinary session of the 35-nation Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over what it claims are Ukrainian attacks on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) on Sunday, a Russian envoy said on Monday.

LOS ANGELES -- A total solar eclipse was sweeping across North America on Monday, as residents and visitors gathered in different locations on the path of the eclipse to watch and cheer.

TUNIS -- Tunisia's maritime guards rescued 2,688 undocumented immigrants during the past 24 hours from sinking boats and retrieved 13 bodies after they foiled 85 illegal immigration attempts, the Tunisian National Guard said in a statement on Monday.
