OTTAWA, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Two men were killed and another was seriously injured in a shooting over the noon hour Monday in Edmonton, Canada, local media reported.

In a news release on Monday night, local police said the shooting occurred in a residential area in south Edmonton, and the two men killed were aged 49 and 57, CBC News reported.

Autopsies have been scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday and homicide investigators are leading the investigation, CTV News reported. Enditem
