JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that Israel will launch an offensive against Hamas in Gaza's Rafah and "no power in the world" could prevent it.

The Israeli military will "complete the elimination of Hamas battalions, including in Rafah," Netanyahu told newly enlisted soldiers in a military base outside Tel Aviv. (Israel-Rafah Offensive)

TEHRAN -- At least five policemen were killed and two others injured Tuesday in a "terrorist" attack in the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported.

AMMAN -- The Jordanian military announced on Tuesday the completion of 14 humanitarian aid air drops over Gaza, delivering supplies such as clothing, food, children's toys, and sweets to both the northern and southern regions of the enclave.

According to the state-run Petra news agency, the military described the operation as "the largest airdrop operation" in Gaza. The initial phase targeted the southern areas with aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Indonesia. The second phase focused on the northern regions, deploying additional Jordanian aircraft alongside those from the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, Britain, and France.
