HOUSTON -- One person was killed and 13 others were injured after a stolen semitrailer rammed into a Department of Public Safety office on Friday in Brenham, U.S. state of Texas, authorities said.

Eight of the injured were treated on the scene and released, while six others, including the fatality, were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries, officials of the Texas Department of Public Safety said at a news conference. (US-Semitrailer-Crash)

LUANDA -- A delegation with deputies from the National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA), the country's main opposition party, was attacked while working in Angola's eastern Cuando Cubango province, Friday morning, with at least eight people injured.

SOFIA -- The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) reported on Friday an outbreak of the highly pathogenic bird flu at an industrial farm.
