CHARIKAR, Afghanistan, April 13 (Xinhua) -- At least three people were killed with two others injured in a traffic accident in east Afghanistan's Parwan province on Friday, a local official confirmed Saturday.
The accident occurred after two vehicles collided in Rabat region along the highway linking Parwan to the national capital Kabul at around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, said provincial police spokesperson Fazulrahman Maskenyar.
Dozens of people were killed and injured due to road accidents in the last three days across Afghanistan when people celebrated the Eid al-Fitr festival.
