BEIRUT -- A Hezbollah official was killed and three civilians were injured on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike on a village in southern Lebanon, Lebanese military sources told Xinhua.

The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the Israeli raid targeted the main market in the southeast village of Khiam, killing a local Hezbollah official named Jihad Ali Abu Mahdi and wounding three civilians. (Lebanon-Israel-Raid)

ISLAMABAD -- At least 30 people were killed and several others injured in rain-related incidents in the last 48 hours in Pakistan, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said on Sunday.

YANGON -- Twelve people were injured in bomb blasts during the Thingyan water festival in central Myanmar's Mandalay on Sunday, the Information Team of Myanmar's State Administration Council said.

The incident occurred at around 10:25 a.m. local time (0355 GMT) on Sunday when two improvised explosive devices exploded at a motorcycle parking area near the Mandalay mayor's pandal in Mandalay, the information team said. (Myanmar-Bomb Blast)

GAZA -- The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip from ongoing Israeli attacks has risen to 33,729, the Hamas-run Health Ministry said on Sunday.
