ISLAMABAD, April 17 (Xinhua) -- At least eight people were killed and 30 others injured on Wednesday in a collision between three vehicles in Jamshoro district of Pakistan's southern Sindh province, the rescue service reported.

The accident took place early in the morning on Indus Highway near Manjhand area of the district when an oil tanker, a truck and a passenger bus collided, resulting in casualties, Mearaj Ahmed, a local representative of Edhi rescue organization told Xinhua.

"Initially, the oil tanker and the truck collided, and within a few seconds, the bus hit them from behind, which mainly caused the casualties," he added.
