KIEV -- At least 14 people were killed and more than 60 others injured on Wednesday morning in Russia's missile attack on the city of Chernihiv in northern Ukraine, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said.

DHAKA -- At least five vehicles have been involved in a collision in Bangladesh's Jhalokati district which left 11 people dead on Wednesday, a senior police official said.

The accident involved a private car, three autorickshaws and a truck in the district about 200 km south of the capital Dhaka Wednesday afternoon, leaving seven passengers dead on the spot, Muhammed Afruzul Huqe Tutul, the district's police chief, told journalists. (Bangladesh-Road Accident)

NEW DELHI -- At least 10 people died in a road accident in India's western state of Gujarat on Wednesday, a local police officer told Xinhua over phone.

The road mishap occurred when the car they were travelling in rammed into a heavy vehicle parked at the road side. (India-Road Accident)

ISLAMABAD -- At least eight people were killed and 30 others injured on Wednesday in a collision between three vehicles in Jamshoro district of Pakistan's southern Sindh province, the rescue service reported.

The accident took place early in the morning on Indus Highway near Manjhand area of the district when an oil tanker, a truck and a passenger bus collided, resulting in casualties, Mearaj Ahmed, a local representative of Edhi rescue organization told Xinhua. (Pakistan-Sindh-Road Accident). Enditem
