SEOUL, April 18 (Xinhua) -- Four domestic and foreign carmakers in South Korea will voluntarily recall some 11,160 vehicles for manufacturing defects, the transport ministry said Thursday.

Hyundai Motor will recall 6,468 units of two different models, including Santa Fe, for defective back seats, 572 units of four models including G80 for faulty bolts in front wheels, and 769 units of two models including Grandeur due to software errors in the dashboard, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Mercedes-Benz Korea will recall 2,485 units of 11 models such as S 500 4MATIC to repair the poor durability of fuel pump components, while Stellantis Korea will fix software errors of the electronic control units on 557 units of three models including Peugeot e-2008 electric.

MAN Truck & Bus Korea will recall 308 units of TGX tractor for defective bolt fastening in trailer connecting units.

Vehicle owners can visit repair and service centers to replace the faulty parts free of charge. Enditem
