KIEV, April 18 (Xinhua) -- The Ukrainian armed forces attacked a Russian military airfield in Crimea on Wednesday, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said Thursday in a statement on Telegram.

The strikes on the Dzhankoi airfield have either destroyed or severely damaged four launchers of the S-400 air defense system, three radar stations, and an air defense control point, the statement said.

The Fundament-M air surveillance system was also affected in the attack, it said. Enditem
