MOSCOW, April 18 (Xinhua) -- A drone was neutralized over the roof of the training center building of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) on Thursday, according to the plant's press service.

No one was injured as a result of the attack and no destruction was reported, the service said.

Previously, the ZNPP reported a drone attack at the training center building on April 9.

Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, last week called for "maximum restraint" after multiple reports of drone attacks on the ZNPP.

The ZNPP is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe with a total capacity of six gigawatts. At the end of February 2022, Russia took control of the facility. Enditem
