TEHRAN -- Iran's air defense systems shot down several "flying objects" near the central city of Isfahan on Friday, according to the semi-official Fars news agency.

The report comes a few hours after explosions were heard in the city of Qahjavarestan, close to Isfahan's International Airport and an air force base. (Iran-Israel-Conflict)

BEIRUT -- Two Hezbollah fighters were killed and three civilians wounded on Friday in Israeli airstrikes on several villages in southern Lebanon, said Lebanese military sources.

The military sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that the Israeli army destroyed a house in the village of Aita al-Shaab in the border area with two air-to-ground missiles. A Hezbollah fighter was killed in the attack, while two civilians were wounded. (Lebanon-Israel-Attacks)

GAZA -- The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced Thursday that the death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks has exceeded 34,000.

The ministry said in a statement that the Israeli army killed 42 Palestinians and wounded 63 others during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 34,012 and injuries to 76,833 since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas conflict. (Gaza-Israeli Strikes-Death Toll)

RAMALLAH -- A Palestinian was killed by the Israeli army in the Nour Shams Palestinian refugee camp, east of the city of Tulkarm in the West Bank, Palestinian and Israeli sources said Friday.

Palestinian medical sources told Xinhua that Salim Ghannam, 30, was killed after being shot by the Israeli army, adding that two others were moderately injured. (Israel-West Bank-Killing) Enditem
