ABUJA, April 19 (Xinhua) -- At least 13 people were killed by unidentified gunmen in Nigeria's north-central Plateau State on Friday, local authorities said.
The bloodshed took place in the Bokkos and Mangu local government areas of Plateau, said the police. An investigation is under way to determine the motive behind the attacks.
Mangu is one of the most frequently attacked cities on Nigeria's Plateau, which is in the country's central belt between the Muslim-dominated north and the Christian-majority south. Enditem
