YANGON, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar earned over 14.61 billion U.S. dollars from its exports in the 2023-24 fiscal year through March, according to Myanmar's Ministry of Commerce on Monday.

For the fiscal year ended March 31, the Southeast Asian country earned over 10.59 billion dollars from the export by the private sector, and over 4.02 billion dollars by the government sector, the ministry said.

The export income was compared to some 16.62 billion dollars recorded a year earlier.

Among the country's exported products, manufactured goods are on the top with a revenue of over 8.84 billion dollars, showed the ministry's data.

Myanmar mainly exports agricultural, animal and marine products, minerals, forest products and manufactured goods to its foreign trade partners, including China, Thailand, Bangladesh and India, according to the commerce ministry. Enditem
