VIENTIANE -- Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith will, at the invitation from Russian President Vladimir Putin, lead a high-level delegation to pay a working visit to Russia from May 7 to 11.

DHAKA -- At least 15 people have died from heat-aggravated conditions during a blistering heatwave in parts of Bangladesh over the past two weeks, the government confirmed Monday.

JAKARTA -- Indonesia's economy grew by 5.11 percent year on year in the first quarter of this year, Statistics Indonesia BPS announced on Monday.
