ISLAMABAD, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Unknown armed assailants launched an assault on a house in the Gwadar district of Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province early Thursday morning, resulting in the killing of seven laborers, said police.

Local police said that some unknown gunmen stormed the house and opened fire at workers sleeping in the rooms, leaving seven of them dead and another injured in the Surbandar area of Gwadar.
