MEXICO CITY, May 12 (Xinhua) -- Mexico international striker Julian Quinones scored in second-half stoppage time as Club America progressed to the Liga MX semifinals on Saturday with a 1-1 home draw against Pachuca.

Oussama Idrissi put the visitors ahead just after the half hour with a 12-yard finish into the top corner.

Quinones, a 57th-minute replacement for Javairo Dilrosun, equalized in the 94th minute by slotting home from close-range after Illian Hernandez's header was parried clear by Carlos Moreno.

The result left the sides tied 2-2 on aggregate but America advanced by virtue of their higher position in the standings at the end of the regular season.

In Saturday's other quarterfinal second leg, Guadalajara drew 0-0 at Toluca to secure a 1-0 win on aggregate. Enditem
