ISLAMABAD -- At least five people were killed and several others injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, police said on Tuesday.

ISTANBUL -- Turkish authorities have arrested 29 suspects in a crackdown on organized crimes in Istanbul, the semi-official Anadolu Agency reported on Tuesday.

DAR ES SALAAM -- Five passengers died in the Kilimanjaro region in northern Tanzania after being struck by a truck on Sunday night while waiting for their defective mini-bus to be repaired, police said on Tuesday.

BEIRUT -- An Israeli drone launched on Tuesday two air-to-surface missiles at a house in the southern Lebanese village of Mays al-Jabal, destroying the house and killing a member of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, a Lebanese military source said.

The source, preferring anonymity, added that another Israeli attack targeted the village of Odaisseh, near the UN-drawn Blue Line, the border demarcation between Lebanon and Israel, with four missiles on Tuesday, injuring three civilians who were subsequently taken to a hospital in the Lebanese town of Bint Jbeil for treatment.
