SANAA -- Warplanes of the U.S.-British coalition launched two airstrikes on Hodeidah airport in western Yemen late on Thursday night, the Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.

The latest airstrikes came less than 24 hours after the coalition conducted six airstrikes on the same airport, al-Masirah TV said, without elaborating further, as the Houthi group rarely discloses its casualties. (Yemen-Airstrikes-Hodeidah)

KIEV -- At least seven people were killed and 21 others were injured Thursday in a wave of missile strikes on Ukraine's northeastern city of Kharkiv, local authorities said.

ISTANBUL -- Three people were killed and five others wounded on Thursday in an armed clash between two groups in Türkiye's largest city Istanbul.

DAR ES SALAAM -- Three foreigners from Brazil, Kenya and India and eight Tanzanian technicians were killed, and two others were seriously injured early Thursday in an explosion at a sugar factory in Morogoro Region of eastern Tanzania, a local official said.

Morogoro Regional Fire and Rescue Commander Shaban Marujugo told Xinhua over the phone that the blast occurred at 1:00 a.m. local time (2300 GMT Wednesday) at the Mtibwa sugar factory in Kilombero District. (Tanzania-Accident-Explosion) Enditem
