BEIRUT -- A Hezbollah member and one civilian were killed and five others wounded on Friday evening in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese military sources.
The sources, who spoke anonymously, said one Hezbollah member was killed and another wounded in an Israeli attack in the town of Ain Qana, while another Israeli raid in the town of Adloun in the Sidon district killed a woman and wounded four other civilians. (Lebanon-Israeli Strikes-Casualties)

LA PAZ -- At least seven people were killed and several others were injured when a truck collided head-on with a bus on a road connecting west Bolivian cities of El Alto and Copacabana on Friday, local police said.
Colonel Jesus Bejarano with the transit department told reporters that the dump truck broke into the lane where the bus was circulating in the town of Vilaque, on a route that links El Alto with tourist destinations such as Tiquina and Copacabana. (Bolivia-Road Accident)

TUNIS -- Four immigrants from sub-Saharan African countries were killed and 19 others injured in a traffic accident in Tunisia's southwestern Gafsa province, private radio station Mosaique FM reported on Friday.

NEW DELHI -- Floods have claimed five lives and affected thousands of people in India's northeastern states of Assam and Manipur, officials said Friday.
