PHNOM PENH -- A fisherman has found a war-left U.S.-made MK-82 aerial bomb in a pit lake on the western outskirts of Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia, a mine clearance chief said on Friday.
Cambodian Mine Action Center (CMAC)'s director-general Heng Ratana said the MK-82 aerial bomb, weighing around 230 kg, had been spotted on Thursday at a pit lake in Kamboul district. (Cambodia-Aerial bomb-US)

TOKYO -- The Japanese government said Friday that a deep-sea search will begin next month for the two Maritime Self-Defense Force (MSDF) helicopters that crashed into the Pacific in April.
At the request of the defense ministry, the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, or JAMSTEC, will begin the search using an unmanned deep-sea vehicle that can reach a depth of up to 6,000 meters, according to the science ministry. (Japan-Helicopters-Crash)

KATHMANDU -- Four members of a family were killed on Thursday night in a landslide in Taplejung district in northeastern Nepal, a local official said Friday.
