RIYADH -- China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), a Chinese state-owned construction giant, secured on Wednesday a major contract in Saudi Arabia.

The company is one of the two companies awarded a contract worth more than 2 billion U.S. dollars to build a new mixed-use district north of Diriyah, a town near the Saudi capital of Riyadh. (CSCEC-Saudi Arabia-Contract)

JERUSALEM -- Israel's military said on Wednesday that it dropped thousands of leaflets on Gaza City, urging all residents to leave immediately amid an intensified military offensive on the Palestinian enclave's main city.

The leaflets called on "all those in Gaza City" to leave and move quickly, saying the army enables "safe corridors" for residents to move to areas in Deir al-Balah and al-Zawaida, which, according to the military, have been designated as safe zones. (Israel-Gaza-Conflict)

ISTANBUL -- Ship traffic in Istanbul's Bosphorus Strait has partially resumed following a temporary suspension caused by an engine failure on a ship earlier on Wednesday, according to Türkiye's Directorate General of Coastal Safety.
