JERUSALEM, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park (CICP) launched a policy promotion event on Thursday in Israel's economic hub Tel Aviv.

The event showcased the park's role as a bridge for Israeli companies seeking to tap into the Chinese market.

As a joint venture between the Chinese and Israeli governments, the CICP has attracted 238 Israeli-owned or joint venture firms since its inception. The park has also facilitated 58 technology cooperation projects, according to Zhou Liping, deputy director of the CICP's Administrative Committee.

"China and Israel share strong complementary advantages in innovation," said Liu Song, charge d'affaires at the Chinese embassy in Israel. He highlighted China's position as Israel's largest trading partner in Asia and second-largest globally.

The CICP is expanding its support for Israeli companies with a revamped policy framework, including new incentives and services.

The event drew over 100 attendees from both countries, including government officials, business leaders, and industry experts. Enditem
