TOKYO, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- Circuit breaker on Tuesday halted futures trading of Japan's benchmark Nikkei 225 Index, as Tokyo stocks saw sharp rebound after Monday's rout.
As of 9:30 a.m. local time, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average gained 8.02 percent, or 2,522.03 points, following its record intraday losses on Monday.
Futures trading of Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market 250 Index also saw suspension due to circuit breaker. Enditem
