SEOUL, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- A helicopter crashed in southern South Korea on Wednesday morning, with a pilot slightly injured, according to Yonhap news agency.

The chopper of the Korea Forest Service crashed at around 9:39 a.m. local time (0039 GMT) in the southern county of Hadong, South Gyeongsang province.

The pilot was bruised on the chest and taken to a nearby hospital. It was a non-life-threatening injury.

The fire authorities believed that the helicopter crashed after being caught in the electric wire, planning to determine the exact cause of the accident after recovering debris on the site. Enditem
