SINGAPORE, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- The National University of Singapore (NUS) and tech giant IBM will build a new AI research and innovation center based at the NUS School of Computing, according to a statement issued by the university on Thursday.

The center aims to power scientific research with IBM's full-stack AI infrastructure and open-source models, including IBM's flagship series of Granite models.
