Vietnam's petrol prices hit nearly nine-month low

HANOI, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Petrol prices in Vietnam continued to fall Thursday for the third consecutive time and remained at its lowest level since early this year, local media reported.

The price of E5 RON92 per liter was cut by 360 Vietnamese dong (0.015 U.S. dollar) to 19,970 dong. RON95-III petrol price was cut by 280 dong per liter to 20,820 dong.

Diesel price dropped by 380 dong to 18,090 dong per liter while kerosene slightly edged down 340 dong to 18,720 dong, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Since the beginning of this year, Vietnam's petrol prices have been adjusted 35 times. (1 U.S. dollar equals 24,740 Vietnamese dong) Enditem
