ULAN BATOR, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- Germany and the United States clinched the men's and women's titles at the 2024 FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup in Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia on Monday.

The German men's U23 team overcame reigning champions the U.S. in the final, while the American women beat the Netherlands to be crowned, according to the Mongolian 3x3 Basketball Association.

Spain's men's team, exceptional throughout the tournament, delivered a standout performance in the battle for bronze, defeating a strong Lithuanian side 21-16.

In the women's bronze medal game, China's U23 team achieved a historic milestone by defeating the Olympic medal-winning Germans 20-14.
