DHAKA -- A total of 1,221 people were diagnosed with dengue fever in Bangladesh in the past 24 hours on Sunday, the highest number in a single day so far this year, according to the Ministry of Health.

NEW DELHI -- At least 10 people were killed and 24 others injured after a bus carrying them crashed into a stationary dumper truck in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, police said Sunday.

KATHMANDU -- A total of 148 people have been confirmed dead in monsoon rain-induced landslides and floods in Nepal by Sunday afternoon, police said.
