HONG KONG, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Fiji Islands region at 11:18:22 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 610.5 km, was initially determined to be at 20.07 degrees south latitude and 178.32 degrees west longitude. Enditem
